What is a graduation stole?
A graduation stole is a sash-like decorative garment worn by students at their high school, college or university ceremonies. It's often worn by those who are members of various organizations such as a sorority and shows their outstanding academic achievements. Stoles also known as sashes, may also be used to indicate membership in a professional organization. However, graduation stoles unlike pageant sashes are worn draped around the neck and over the shoulders of the gown, rather than across the body.
Specific degree programs, sororities and fraternities are represented by their color standard which is recognized by most colleges and universities throughout the United States.
What happens if you don’t have as many graduation stoles in stock as I want to order?
Don’t panic if our online inventory doesn’t show the amount you need! We always have plenty of extra sorority stoles already made that aren’t shown on the website inventory that ship quickly and efficiently. Email Sorority Stole Store at cs@sororitystolestore.com and let us know which stole you would like, how many you need, and when you need them. We will get back to you as soon as possible to confirm whether we can fulfill your desired order.
May I pay for a bulk order of sorority graduation stoles with a chapter check?
Sure! We will accept payment for bulk orders with chapter checks, money orders, or bank checks. However, please note that we are unable to guarantee that we will have the graduation stoles you need in stock and can make the date you need them by until we receive payment. If you’re cutting it close with either how many we have in stock or the date you need them by, we recommend using a credit card or PayPal.
If you would like to pay with chapter checks, money orders, or bank checks, send us an email with the following information, and we can email you an invoice and payment instructions:
- Your school name
- Your sorority name
- The number of grad stoles you need
- If you want the year on the stole
- The date you need your graduation stoles by
- The ordering person’s name, phone number, email address and physical mailing address for the order
What happens if our sorority stoles do not arrive?
Be sure to check your tracking information regularly after you place your order for the most accurate estimated delivery date. When you place individual orders with standard shipping, your orders are sent through the United States Postal Service, which does not include insurance. The amount of time it takes for USPS shipments to arrive is also somewhat unpredictable (anywhere from two business days to four weeks). We do NOT recommend using USPS standard shipping for these reasons.
When you select guaranteed shipping options with Sorority Stole store, your order will be shipped via FedEx,, which include insurance. If your package does not arrive due to a FedEx error, we can refund your purchase amount or resend your order after FedEx exhausts its investigation. Please note FedEx investigations can take up to two weeks to complete. If your package isn’t found at the conclusion of the investigation, you can opt for a refund, or we will resend your order.
